2FarGone No One of Consequence
When we discuss Retzlaff, why are we using last year's stats as well?
Normally, no one ever does that because it's intellectually dishonest — it provides a very skewed picture.

When we talk about a RB, we don't talk about his yards last year and this year. When we talk about a WR, we don't about his catches last year and this year. Why are we doing that when talking about the QB?

If we are going to focus on Retzlaff's play, shouldn't we limit ourselves to his play this year?

This is also why talking about Bohanon or Hillstead also is suspect because they haven't done anything this year.

All we know is that there was a competition in fall camp. It was close until Jake pulled away. Reports were also that Hillstead struggled a lot in fall camp.

If we focus on this year, Jake had one great game and one mediocre game. I didn't go to bad because it was a win, he did enough to lead his team to victory. Without that pitch on 4th and 1, we don't win in spite of the stellar defense. Sometimes you just have to find a way to win when it's not your day.
