Fumble lost: Busted play, he was supposed to have somebody to hand off to, and that’s why he had the ball in one hand. Sure, he needs to secure it and keep 2 hands on it, but in a busted play there was a lot of confusion and he thought somebody would be there.

2nd INT: The defensive lineman who picked it off got knocked on his back and was on the ground when Retzlaff made the read. I think it’s likely Retzlaff couldn’t even see him on the turf, or at least didn’t think he would pop up so fast. Watching the replay, that lineman popped up and came out of nowhere.

But that first INT was baaaad. No reason at all to make that throw.
