If you get paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every 11 years there are 27 paydays instead of 26. If you're a salaried employee there are different approaches. Some employers divide your salary by 27 instead of 26 so each individual pay check is smaller but the aggregate is the same.
This year it's possible that a salaried employee who is supposed to make $120k/year would instead get $130k in paychecks. Anyone else in this boat? How does your company handle years when there are 27 paydays instead of 26?
