Why isn’t radiology embracing AI more?
Is it the obvious answer that the people who should be pushing it forward more are the ones who would lose their jobs so they are hesitant? Or is it just not good enough yet?

With everything I’ve seen of AI, it seems that with a little work it should be able to give very accurate readings instantly and allow what few radiologists are needed to focus on the gnarly cases that need human eyes.

This seems like a huge win for humanity. Less cost, lightning fast results, and in many cases better results than faulty human eyes sometimes give.
