But the Port of Galveston is closed. We were going to get off the ship first today, then it was tomorrow morning. The captain just announced that now the port can’t even let us dock until 1pm, and that’s if the port passes all of the safety inspections.

I was supposed to fly back to Riyadh at 3:50pm tomorrow. I’m very glad I logged into the airline website this morning and pushed the flight to Thursday. A few extra vacation days never hurt anyone.

I feel bad for my sister who is with us. Her and my brother’s yards/fences look pretty wrecked from that hurricane.
