As I've said many times, luck is the biggest factor in winning a championship. While the likelihood of drafting a guy who will help you win a championship is better the lower the pick, it's really a difference between one low percentage and another. Still, it makes no sense to remain mediocre. You have to give yourself the best odds, even if those odds are still low.
