I need to make a ribbon curve along a sphere in solidworks.

the easier version is something like a "I".... that we have been able to do.

Now, the next is something like an "L" ... lay down the tall part along the sphere, then turn the corner and lay down the little leg.

If you get those ... then a "J" (i.e a continuous curve)

Finally, an "S" or a "W" are actually closest to what we really need.

Any thoughts / suggestions ... you tube videos, solidworks tip pages, etc.
