Controversial Thought: If players don't have any loyalty to BYU, why are BYU fans supposed to have any loyalty to them?
I don't get everyone always posting "I hope he does well," or "I will root for him wherever he goes." Why? Are you a fan of the player or a fan of the school? If it is the player, fine. Just own it.
This is why when I hear that player So-and-So is in the portal I don't freak out, or think he'll be missed, or yearn to watch him play as he plays for some other school. I just post:
