Is it possible to carpet one room at a time?

My whole upstairs needs to be recarpeted. We have 4 bedrooms and a hallway that need to be redone. Can I just do one bedroom at a time so I don't have to evacuate the entire 2nd floor of my house?

You can, but a good installer could be done on less than a day

You’ll have to move it regardless. But you can avoid moving up and down stairs
