Is it possible to carpet one room at a time?
My whole upstairs needs to be recarpeted. We have 4 bedrooms and a hallway that need to be redone. Can I just do one bedroom at a time so I don't have to evacuate the entire 2nd floor of my house?

You can, but a good installer could be done on less than a day

It's not the speed, it's removing all the stuff in each room.

I am looking forward to recarpeting for this very reason

You’ll have to move it regardless. But you can avoid moving up and down stairs

Yes. Professionals clear the entire floor for the sake of efficiency,

It will cost more.

The installer would probably charge a minimum for every day it took.
