CrimWalCoug All-American in practice
What we learned from Spring ball on Defense:
1. Jonathan Kabeya will be our starting Nickelback. He is the first player Jay Hill has mentioned on multiple occasions as the defensive player who made the biggest strides.

2. Keanu Tanuvasa is the real deal and is the leader of the DL. Jay Hill believes he can be one of the best DTs in the country.

3. Siale Esera is healthy and is competing with Harrison Taggart for a starting LB spot. Our LBs should be even better in 2025. Don’t be surprised if Esera is out there starting in game one with Isaiah Glasker and Jack Kelly.

4. Some good talent at DE but they are young, inexperienced, and inconsistent. These are the players who can make the biggest jump from now until Fall ball.

5. Jay Hill isn’t satisfied with the depth at DT or CB. If the right guy pops up in the transfer portal at either of these positions, BYU would pursue.
