and I don't blame them - you can see what's been visible for a while, which is that in addition to being a magician of a passer, he HAS the touch and the instincts to become a three level scorer at the next level. And given that he just now turned 19, teams will be seeing what he can be after 2-3 years of development, not just what he is right now.
I'd be pretty surprised if he's not gone as a lottery pick after this year, but that was always the expectation. Great kid. Would love to somehow hold him to play with AJ but I'm afraid that's not in the cards. I'll root for him in the NBA* (*unless he's drafted by the Lakers, then there are oaths I cannot break).
