Not meaning to criticize Egor.
Egor is a great player and a great kid. But lately, when the heat is on, he is not helping us much. He just isn't ready for this level of competition and pressure. Now, I hope he goes out and proves me wrong in the NCAA Tournament. I think he will have his moments. But he won't carry the team. Next year, he would be so much better if he sticks around. In the off season, he needs to hit the weights and work out against guys that will challenge him.

This team will go as far as Richie can carry them. Richie is the guy. I think a Richie-led team is Sweet Sixteen worthy. But after that, we will start facing teams very much like Houston, teams that can take us out of our offensive system. If we had a really tough, quick guard like the ones we face — someone who can handle pressure, get to the rim with someone pounding on him all the way to the basket, we would be a Final 4 team this year. No offense to Egor or Dallin, but they are not that type of player. Dallin is more than Egor.

Now, here's to hoping I am wrong, and we get sweet matchups. and our team clicks. I will be the first to eat my crow and love it.
