If Stewart had gotten more PT over the past 2 or 3 years, would he now be a player that not only plays great defense with great intensity, but would he also be a player that could more consistently hit outside shots, and use his athleticism to drive the lane and either finish, get fouled, or dish to open teammates.
He has a level of athleticism and aggressive style of play that no other BYU guards has. I sometimes wonder if he had been under appreciated and under utilized over the past few years. He certainly has developed under KY. Too bad it came in his last year of eligibility.
Who knows, maybe Crawford is that guy in the next year or two. We can only hope. BYU really needs the kinds of guards that they see regularly in their B12 opponents.
