BYU came up short in the end but dominated ASU in the 2nd half after fixing some of the 1st-half problems, whether those problems were the result of any insight provided by Wakely to the Leavitts or not.

All the talk here in Arizona after the game is that ASU wanted no part of a rematch with BYU in the B12 CCG. Talk radio here indicated that both local media people and even coaches weren't excited at all about the prospect of playing BYU again.

If you're a conspiracy theorist, this could add some credence to the narrative that ASU had some inside info that really helped them, especially in the 1st half, and after seeing how the 2nd half went they didn't like the thought of playing BYU without that advantage.
