2021 was a pretty magical year. NFL QB, NFL RB, NFL Wr, NFL tackle. There is a real argument that team was an all time great BYU squad. Wins over the P12 champ(Utah), the MWC champ(USU), at USC, over the former HC, a then record 6 P5 victories. Ranked all season.

The loss in the Independence Bowl, however; left everyone with a bad taste in their mouth.

This season was pretty comparable. 10 wins in the regular season. Beat Utah(although not as good as Utah team), beat a now school record 9 P4 teams. This team was special if not as talented as 2021.

The Bowl win though has everyone smiling and feeling optimistic.
