BYU breakdown from a dude who knows ball (not me):
"So much low hanging fruit that even a high school baller can see. Boring offensive sets. Pope's team ran this two years ago. Last year's set focused on back cuts and different attack movements. Imagine Denim taking the Egyptian magician high post and hitting cuts.

Hall looks lost, like all his Pope training has no outlet in this offense. Fous is amazing but doesn't know how to set a screen that frees up anyone, and when he does, the guards don't rub shoulders with him and use it. The offense doesn't stress the defense enough, but I did like the number of drives today and getting them into foul trouble. Denim is really bothered by the physicality. He will be great someday, but at this moment he's not even good. If he shoots 50 percent we win today.

But the worst of it are the absolutely UNFORGIVABLE passing turnovers. Try a pump fake, it would have stressed Houston as they jumped every lane. I don't know what to say about them defensively. At times decent, then massive lapses. They lost the 2nd best 3-point shooter in transition twice in the last 3 minutes and it cost them the game...mighty mouse hit 6 of 9 threes; And they never adjusted. Young clearly tells his players which players they want to shoot and beat them, which is ok to start a game, but when that guy gets hot you have to adjust."
