I'd take those type of fans that are loud and engaged and supporting the team
over the fans that think they know more than everyone in the arena and spend the game explaining loudly why every single foul that the crowd disagrees with is actually a good call. They end up spending most of the game complaining about fans and trying to to enlighten everyone with their superior knowledge than just supporting the team and cheering. They try to act so unbiased that they actually end up going the opposite direction and just sound annoying and end up not really even cheering and supporting the team because of it. Matt Harpring used to do it in older Jazz broadcasts and it was terrible...and I seem to always hear a fan like that at the MC for frustrating games like these. They are so loud about it, you usually can hear them from a section away.
