There are probably 3-4 programs at a given point in time that recruit a different caliber player and should be better than the rest of us. They happen to be in the SEC and Big 10. That doesn’t make the P2 better top to bottom. Those top teams are beatable so they need to prove it on the field. Every year there are teams with superior talent that underperform. The next tier of teams in P2 (top to bottom) are no different than the rest of the P4 but they get privileged treatment just for being SEC/B10. Indiana, Tennessee, Ole Miss, S Carolina, Penn St all get special treatment because of their conference. Alabama got special treatment despite not playing well this year because of their conference”talent”

Except for the top 1-2 teams in those conferences, they are t better than the rest of us but get treated like they are.
