We went to 5 stores, 2 Safeways and 3 drug stores, and handed out two $20 bills to people on the street.

Each and every person was smiling from ear to ear, thrilled to be the recipient of these little $50 gifts on Christmas day. I asked my grandson at the Safeways to secretly look at all the checkers and choose which one he wanted to give it to. He prefers the ladies, and they do have a more animated response. We enjoyed big smiles, looks of shock and at the last Safeway we had a round of applause by other shoppers in line and a forced hug for both of us from the checker.

Thats all well and good and very fun in it's own right. My grandson was beaming and would talk about how good it made him feel to see people so happy.

But what price can you put on this comment from a 7 yr. old?--- "sometimes I think about how my life is so good and I'm so happy that I don't even know what to say" and "I think Heavenly Father is watching us and is happy that we're making other people happy". BINGO, what's that worth?

Lots more to the stories and he promises to tell them at family dinner in an hour. I'm already excited for next year.
