I hunted. I won.
Rib roasts were on sale at Safeway for $4.97 a lb. Every Safeway in the area was out within hours after the sal started.
This morning I decided to call up every Safeway in the area…10 or so.
The 7th I called said they just had a cancellation. It was a 20lbs. Roast.
I drove 40 minutes to get there.
Family is now very happy
