They
lost the beloved conference that pulled them off the street corner
lost their tv deal and were the laughing stock over a valuation that put them in line with BYU's conference
lost their first year in the Big12
lost all the bragging rights they fully exercised too early
lost most of their games this year in their "most talented team yet,"
and now losing recruits en masse.
And that's just football. They've drawn the curtain(s) on basketball long ago.
And need to lose their "legendary" (who is only legendary in the very local sense) coach.
Their poverty program rode a wave of bigot luck for a decade and now we're seeing all of that being undone by karma and common sense.
