With no NCAA or other governance, pretending that CFB is a sport for students is laughable.

Its time to quit pretending & just call it what it is; minor league professional football. The CFP corporation should take it over, form a league, and sell franchises to universities that want to own a team. Recruit and hire players, but quit pretending they're students first. They aren't anymore. Part of their compensation package could be free school in the offseason, if they want it. But school as a condition to play?? It's a farce.
