right now is that his shooting splits are 37/29/47. Those stats would make an NBA player unplayable. I know we are 10 games into his freshman year and I will cut him some slack, but those numbers need to improve. Especially if he wants any shot of getting drafted in the first round.
This team seems to have really good chemistry. We often take that for granted, but it makes a BIG difference. For example the team 2 years ago really seemed to struggle with that.
Knell is really good and deserves 25+ mins a night in my opinion. His offensive rating is 151.9 on sportsreference.com! That is insane!
Keita is taken for granted by lots of our fan base because they like Fouss (and Fouss is really good, no doubt). But Keita has been really good this year. His defensive rating is a team best 88.9. He effects so many shots down low. Yes he is Rudy Gobert offensively.
Dallin Hall has been pretty bad this year. He has a team worst defensive rating (not a huge surprise, last year only Jaxson Robinson had a worse defensive rating) and per 40 mins only Crawford scores less points among those that get time (Hall is 10th out of 11). His splits are only slightly better than Catchings; 37/32/67, which for a guy in his 3rd year starting is very bad. The good news is that he has a relatively small sample size of 6 games, but for BYU to get to where they want to be he must play better or less minutes.
