Funny illustration of generational difference specifically regarding youthful slang. Im chatting with my 20
something daughter and her husband, and my 30 something son and his wife. The HCBW was downstairs with a grandkid.

We’re talking about long haul truckers and that they have sleeper cabs so they can sleep along the road. This turns into how nice some of these cabs are. My daughter-in-law says that some are so nice the drivers bring their dogs. My son-in-law says some drivers actually bring their wives. Right on cue I blurt out “and what if your wife is a dog?!” followed with a belly laugh. Im literally LOLing and these kids stare at me like I’m an idiot. This makes me laugh even harder.

This generation takes such a comment “your wife is a dog” and scratches their head wondering if someone is literally married to a dog, because in their world thats not to far fetched.

Anyhow, when my wife comes upstairs I ask her “when we were young what would you call an ugly girl?” She replies “a dog”. “And what would you call a hot girl?” She responds “a fox”

Kids….😜
