incident that happened there, the narrative is that the cave was absolutely insane and "hardcore," and that nobody should ever attempt going into such a cave because of how extremely dangerous it was. When the reality of the situation is that it was a beginner cave frequented by youth groups, boy scouts, and that I even took my middle aged mom through once. At this point, I think they should go retrieve Jon Jones remains, which should be fairly easy to remove now due to the passage of time, give him a proper burial, and throw some cement, or board up that section where he got stuck, put a memorial plaque there, etc..., and then open up the rest of the cave so it can be used again like it was before by new generations of cavers.
