After 40 years in the desert, we blew what may prove to be a rare opportunity (CCG), in a historic year (first real playoffs).

Each team is unique. Michigan 2025 (ho-hum) is not Michigan 2024 (NC). Is BYU as a program on the rise or not? Maybe so, maybe not. I certainly hope so. The only way to prove that is to be a contender in the Big12 again next year.

Don't try to console me. I need a few weeks to get through denial, anger, bargaining, and depression, and on to acceptance. A few BB wins and some cranberry sauce might do the trick.
