We have all hashed out how ridiculous it was to rank Tulane ahead of any currently ranked B12 teams. Here is another inconvenient fact.

Going into the game tonight:

9-2 Tulane was ranked 17
9-1 Army was unranked

The only difference is Tulane had one more quality loss than Army. They were literally ranking them ahead of a similarly situated team because they played and lost to one more ranked team…by a wide margin.
