The social media-fication of TV ads is awful
Meaning TV and streaming ads that emulate the framing, style, vibe of "influencer" ads you'd see on tiktok or IG.
"I'm just headed to Target to buy a few things. I love these blah blah blah."
Face right in the camera, filmed in car, etc.
I'd rather watch pharma ads that leave me confused about what they're selling and disturbed by the list of side effects.
