The only way Big 12 has a shot at getting two teams into the Playoff / BYU in without winning the conference championship

The slimmest of margins – but this is according to the playoff predictor at espn.com

1. The following teams would have to lose – Tulane, Indiana, Notre Dame, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Iowa St
2. The following teams would have to win – SMU, Arizona St, BYU, Colorado, Texas Tech
3. Then Arizona State would have to beat Colorado in Championship game

The slimmest of margins yes – but BYU could get into the playoff at 10-2

Obviously It would be better if BYU were to win the Big 12 and that is what we are all hoping for.
