type in your recipe kind of haphazardly into google docs, type and paste into chatgpt and ask it to format it for google docs and make corrections and it will give it to you in markdown. You need to turn it on as it's off by default. In google docs, go to Tools->Preferences->Enable Markdown. Then go paste from markdown in edit in google docs and there it is nicely formatted.
