An interesting aspect of our D…we lead the Big12 in Kill shots to date with 10 so far. Next closest team is ISU with 8. BYU and ISU lead the nation averaging 2 a game and BYU has not given up any kill shots in a game yet this season.

Averaging 2 kill shots a game means we’re not only consistently hitting shots on the offensive end but we’re getting strings of consecutive stops on the defensive end. Our D complements our O and visa versa. Our D might not be the lock-down variety but it is opportunistic and gives us a distinct advantage on the court. It will be interesting to see if it can hold up as we step up in competition.
