even though it is clearly caught by Roberts. They've gone back and fixed it retroactively but if he had been 2 yards further would the ref have called incomplete? Fans rush the field again. Game is over?

I believe the ref’s signal of end of game was misinterpreted as incomplete pass

I think the issue was that nobody signaled it was a catch and that he was short

It has been said in several articles the ref was signaling end of game not incomplete pass. It has since been corrected
