Coaching staff at the start of the year played to win. They knew the effort level last year wasn’t good enough and had to really amp it up.

They did. They gave super effort and played really tough up through the first quarter of the Baylor game. Them, protected our lead…we held on to win. 7-0

Since then…we have played to not make mistakes, conservatively, protect our conference lead. We have had to make two separate spectacular 2nd half comebacks to win.

The same mentality has now cost us two games because we waited too late to start playing to win.

BYU. You play to win the game. Start fast. Play aggressive. Play to win. You will achieve nothing by playing conservative, not to lose, not to make mistakes.

From now on… your fan base will live with some mistakes if you play smart and are getting after it.
