I first noticed this when Oklahoma came to LES last year. Their defensive line substitutions, when we would do an offensive substitution, would wait until the player substituted for them would arrive to the line before the player being substituted for would then slow-trot back to the sideline. This caused BYU to have to take a couple of timeouts as our offense was unable to get a play off in time due to this practice. It happened against us again this year vs OK State and Utah. Finally, during the ASU game, BYU started doing it. It didn't cause ASU to have to take a timeout, but it effectively forced the offense to hurry up their cadence. 

Until the NCAA resolves this, I hope BYU continues to take advantage of it. I do think, however, that the NCAA needs to do something about it as it does put the offense at a disadvantage.
