He literally lunged at the officials while shouting obscenities. That should be an unsportsmanlike conduct foul 100% of the time.
I 100% agree with not physically throwing a flag at that moment, as it would have only incited a more dangerous situation. I would have waited for the field to be cleared and then notified the coach that his previous actions were being penalized.
