The same people that laughed at that prediction are now back to trashing our QB and coaches. Some people can just be miserable fans.

If anything, the amazing turnaround in year 2 of P4 membership proves that we have amazing coaches, making great personnel decisions and developing players.

Our Oline 180, Retzlaffs development, and defensive improvements in just one year show that we are headed in the right direction.

In just year 2 we are competing for a conference championship and showing we are a top tier Big12 team.

Of course I want us to win every game and I wish we were ranked #1, but it’s hard to complain about the amazing spot we find ourselves in.

We could finish with 10 plus wins this year, play a better bowl game than we’ve played in decades, and will be ranked going into next season with a Sr. QB.
