I've thought it through thousands of times in my mind. I've asked the question: "Why us?" I've blamed coaches. I've blamed players. I've blamed the lack of mental game on poor outcomes. I've blamed the lack of athletic ability on the same, awful, outcomes. I've even turned it into a martyr situation where we needed to be humbled because we can't humble ourselves. I've tried the glass half full attitude (Well, we are 9-2 and that is a fantastic season--it really is) but I always go to the woulda coulda shoulda thought process.

Last night, I actually thought that the yewts were going to help us out. I mean, Whitt couldn't lose one more game at home. There is too much pride there, right? I had a small glimmer of hope. Well, I was wrong again but not completely shocked.

Many of you CBers are stating that K-state could easily beat Iowa State. Some even believe that Arizona could be ASU. I highly doubt either will happen. Why you ask? Because "we just can't have nice things."
