If there is a silver lining, it’s that we played inspired football in the second half after 10 quarters of pretty
uninspired play.
And with 10 quarters of uninspired play, we went 1-2 and were still 2 yards away from winning those games. Or 2 special teams plays. Or 2 interceptions away.
Too bad it didn’t happen a little sooner where we could clinch a trip to the title game. Now our fate rests in the hands of KSU or Arizona, along with beating Houston.
