1) The way we came out on both sides of the ball was very disappointing. Didn’t seem to have anything prepared to make ASU uncomfortable or exploit what they like to do on either side of the ball.

2) Glad to see us fight back in the second half. While he couldn’t sustain it, JR as a very good quarterback of an effective offense was briefly reborn after a multi-game absence.

3) Chase Roberts is our guy on offense. Marion is coming on.

4) Our OL is improved but lacks star power. Dude just got beat today both in past coverage and in their primary blocking assignment on run plays. TJ Wood has been excellent but can’t do it for them.

5) We do have a lot of safeties who can play. We may not have any who are significantly better than serviceable. Hill was trying like mad to find someone who could step up and make plays consistently both vs. the run and in pass coverage. As a whole, they were inadequate today.

6) Injuries at LB really hurt. You could see ASU going straight at the back up on key downs.

7) We have great fans.  Love to see Cougar nation travel in force yet again

8) We have to face another good defense at home. It's high time we come out and put the hurt on someone.
