My son and I have a traditionally road trip together. We normally try to go to a BYU game. We haven't been able to get to Provo for a couple years, but we are making it to the Houston game this year.

We've have a pretty down week in personal life, so I'd like to make this trip extra special for him.

I don't know the area very well. Does anyone have any suggestion on activities to do while there? Is anything even going to be open on Friday with it being Thanksgiving week?

We do need to get to the bookstore as he has outgrown his BYU gear. Will the bookstore be open on Friday or Saturday?
