Earlier this year, I bought a 2018 F150 that had always been in Ashland, Oregon, where they don't salt the roads. I live in Reno. We get some snow here, but not as much as Utah. Reno has started to use salt on the roads on the few occasions that it snows.
I've been told that my F150 already has some factory protection underneath, and that undercoating is unnecessary. I really like this truck, want to drive it a long time, and wish to avoid rust.
What would you do?
