Anybody have anything that has worked well to manage eczema?

My wife generally deals with some minor eczema, but for the past month or so has had a flare up and the eczema on her hands has gotten pretty severe. To the point where is often dealing with quite a bit of pain, on top the the itching, cracking, redness, and swelling.

She has tried quite a few things. Lotions, creams, balms, serums, steroids, salt baths, oatmeal baths, whipped beef tallow, redlight therapy, diet changes, stopping some supplements, bought air purifiers for our house, etc. We've probably spent a few thousand dollars at this point.

It doesn't help that she is a nurse that works in surgery, so he is consistently needing to scrub her hands, wear gloves, and sanitize. Stress seems to be a trigger mentioned on the internet. She is generally stressed out about work, and the eczema issues have only caused the stress to get worse.

She hasn't actually seen a dermatologist recently. She hasn't liked her experiences in the past, and think they will just throw another steroid cream at her and not try and figure out the root problem. She's more interested in seeing a naturopath. But that just makes me think of the Seinfeld episode where George sees one.

I want to help but I'm out of ideas.
