BYU has never played and beat this many quality opponents in one season, including 84 or 96, the seasons we consider particularly "special"

Taking the step up from independence to P4 was never going to be easy or without growing pains, and BYU is significantly ahead of schedule compared to reasonable expectations.

That said, I am not satisfied with simply exceeding our low pre-season expectations. We all adjust our expectations based on the product we see on the field. And, although far from perfect, this team should have beat Kansas, should beat ASU and Houston, and has a great shot at winning the CCG and earning a playoff berth. Let's hope our boys seize the day. Who knows when we will be back this close to achieving so many awesome things.
