I don’t understand the mindset that BYU was trying to set up a shorter 4th down
chance at the end of the game instead of going for a first down on third down. That seems like an insane strategy. Why make the game about one play?
BYU coaches fascination with 4th down is an interesting philosophy. Getting stuffed on 4th down is essentially a turnover.
