Egor Demin's shooting is going to solidify him as a top 5 pick
The question coming in was whether he could shoot. Well, so far he's shooting 63% including 55% from 3. He's averaging 17.5 points, 7.5 assists, and 2.3 steals, and it seems like he's not forcing things at all to get those stats. Those are the stats of a present day star, not a future NBA project. The shooting percentages will go down in conference play, but at this point someone is going to want him at the top of the draft, unless he totally blows it once the harder games start. I find that possibility highly unlikely given the skills he's already demonstrated. Even if he were not shooting as well as he is, who wouldn't badly want a six foot nine point guard who can shoot the three, handle the ball, drive the lane, and may be the best passer in the NCAA?

I won't mention his free throw shooting. NBA teams will be willing to swallow that pill, as that is a skill that can be improved with coaching.
