We all know Jake isn't consistently accurate, but last night was noticably worse than any other game this year, with the exception of SMU.

All I can think of is he either wasn't fully focused, wasn't right in his head in some other way, his body/arm was dinged up a bit more, or he just wasn't used to throwing a cold ball with cold hands and wasn't able to adapt to the differences in strength and velocity the ball needed to have to be more accurate and more catchable in the colder conditions.

I'm just hoping that being down in Tempe next week, the warmer weather will help his grip and feel for the the ball and allow him to be back at the best he's been this season. But even if that proves true and he has a better performance and gets his team the win, he still has to come back to Provo and what's likely to be another late night cold weather game and he'll have to adapt his grip, release, and throwing strength to accommodate the colder conditions.

Or maybe the cold doesn't make any significant difference and it was simply him struggling under pressure and all that again?
