BYU sports just seem to be the gift that keeps on giving this year
The end to the game and the end to the first half were a gut punch last night... Losing on a fluke turnover. Yes, I'm sure that was what Kansas hoped/ planned would happen, but having the ball hit the helmet of an unsuspecting defender is a fluke. The D last night was awesome. Some big plays on 3rd and long, but generally just stymied an offense that had been really good the previous 4 games. Luck wasn't with the Cougars last night.

Other than the end of both halves, the game was super fun. I love being in LES, especially at night. Loved hanging out with my son-in-law. He started out not a BYU fan, but is now with me the biggest fan in a family of BYU fans. Their boys, 7 and 4 are big fans. Loved watching some of the road games and the opener on vacation with them.

Basketball is on a 2 year roll of crazy success.

Hopefully BYU is back to the UCF, Arizona and KState team (with the SMU and Kansas D) against ASU to wrap up a spot in the CCG. Colorado looked very beatable against a Utah team that looked like they had quit most of the game.

Looking forward to at least 1 more game in LES this year and many more great basketball games. Probably mix in some volleyball and other sports. Went to one soccer match. Another team that was awesome as the year progressed, even with significant injuries and graduations. A young team that played extremely well. Will have almost all the players back, including some that should be back from injury.

The Cougar runners (current and recent graduates) dominating.

Cougs in the NFL just tearing it up today.

Great time to be a Cougar. Go Cougars!
