Our tickets were purchased through BYU Alumni Phoenix-Tucson chapters who are putting on the tailgate at the ASU Institute. There was a minor ticket mixup and I had a chance to speak to one of the organizers. They have over 2000 tickets sold for the tailgate, expecting 2000-3000. Since a significant number of BYU fans will be attending the game, but not the tailgate, there should be a good-sized BYU crowd at the game.
Many Prescott BYU fans are taking the 2 hour drive to the game.
At Kalani's premier game as head coach, the crowd at the BYU - U of AZ game filled over half of the State Farm Stadium to the point where the U of A athletic director appealed to U of A fans to buy tickets so it wouldn't be a BYU "home" game.
Arizona BYU fans LOVE our Cougs!! Anytime we get a chance to cheer for them in person it is a privilege. Win our lose, GO COUGS!!¡
