BYU was never going to break that trend. Defensive recruiting improved a lot with the last 2 classes but the offensive recruiting is, quite frankly, incredibly underwhelming for a P4 program with the support BYU has.

The Jimmy's and joes always beat the Xs and Os at the end of the day. I've disliked Arod and his abilities in this area for awhile. Even with a wildly successful season he can't stay. His lack of organization and adaptability is not acceptable at this level of competition.
