I apologize in advance that I don't have all the stats handy, but I've heard the PFF guys bring this up numerous times on their show. Jake Retzlaff's numbers against the blitz well below average.
Some of this may be due to his own inherent weakness, but I think that A-Rod needs to help him out and always have a safety valve that he can dump a pass off to if nobody is immediately open and he's under immediate pressure. I feel like we never see this. They seem to tend to prefer to keep an RB back for additional pass protection and almost never to be a dump off pass receiver. I don't care who it is, but A Rod needs to build in that dump off pass target (TE, RB, whoever) to help out Jake in those situations. Or call screen plays in obvious blitz situations...help our QB out! ARod does not seem to be making it easier on Jake in those situations
